SCOTIA Postgraduate award
2022 saw the re-establishment of the Scotia Postgraduate Award following the pandemic. Scotia Council reviewed a number of applications for this award from postgraduate students representing a number of HE establishments.
The prize was awarded at the Scotia AGM November 2022, to Emma Armstrong for her presentation of her PhD studies entitled “The immunological mechanisms of in ovo vaccination”. The work was carried out at the Roslin Institute, Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, University of Edinburgh.
